2020 Lockdown winning photos

BALDOCK LOCKDOWN PHOTO COMPETITION

Back in May, the BEF launched their first ever Photography competition ‘Baldock in Lockdown’ with a view to capture our town and local surroundings throughout these unprecedented times. We felt that we should pay tribute to the community of Baldock and record what has been going on in the town throughout these unsettling times. What better way to do this that get local people involved and inspired and see life through their lenses?

We asked for people to submit photos under the headings of ‘Baldock Households’ and ‘Baldock Communities’ The photos were to be of Baldock and the wider Community and taken after lockdown commenced on March 21st. As an extra incentive to get involved we offered 1st 2nd & 3rd prizes of £30, £20 & £10, with a £30 prize for an overall winner.

Thank you to our two guest judges Laurie Browne, one of Baldock’s Premier photographers and Richard Winter, Baldock Town’s Market Manager who, along with the BEF team deliberated over the many photos received and chose the following winners…
